Speculative

Speculative design imagines possible new products and processes and seeks to develop prototypes. The purpose of the process is not necessarily to arrive at new products but to use the prototypes to develop discussions around what is possible and/or desirable. All design techniques may be used in the process but the extent to which it is intended to stimulate discussion could link the approach to ideas of engagement
