Vocabularies

Information management in multi-disciplinary and cross-boundary fields, like engagement, has the added challenge of not being able to rely on the controlled vocabularies of single disciplines. Work on the development of shared heterogeneous vocabularies can greatly strengthen the usability of the platform by all stakeholders. This applies both to finding equivalents between technical and colloquial terminology and, depending on location and intended participants, to natural language translation.
