The Communications Initiative

The linked page explains the origins and goals of the Communications Initiative.  It is an example of the use of a collaborative platform through which to bring people interested in a certain approach to their work together in order to share knowledge, build networks and develop their field. The rest of the site serves as an good example of a knowledge platform, combining news, interaction, access to more specialised discussions and to resources. There is a large international use of the site with most visits coming from non-OECD countries.
